Humbled Again

We wanted to send out our first newsletter of this year in February, but all of a sudden, the Lord answered our prayers, enlarged our territory, and opened yet other great opportunities for our ministry!

God is moving greatly in Europe! He uses even the devastation of war to win people’s hearts. It is thrilling and humbling to experience that He is working through us on such a large scale! Our ministry is exploding in front of our eyes. The old fire He lit in our hearts to reach every country and language of Europe is burning stronger than ever. We hope that we are a part of an incredible revival that will replace the chilling spiritual darkness of atheism there. In cultures that dismiss the Bible as an old fable, and look at people who believe in its truth as imbeciles, finding Gospel tracts in their mailbox, on their windshield, or putting it in their pocket when someone gives it to them on the street allows people the opportunity to read it in privacy, without anyone’s judging eyes watching. And they can read them again and again helping its truth open their mind and turn their hearts to God. This is the power of the Holy Spirit working through the written word of God. All praise and glory to Him, who doesn’t want anyone to perish, but to have everlasting life with Him in Heaven! 🙏

If you are already supporting us, know that you are reaching masses of people for the Lord with His love and plan of salvation. We are truly grateful to you! Please continue to pray for us! The enemy has been trying to trample us down in all kinds of ways and stop us from serving the Lord. If you are not a part of our team yet, please click on the picture and join us in this amazing, joyful battle for the souls!

First Day of the New Year

On this beautiful first morning of 2022, after recovering from some tough virus we caught on the plane, we are discussing all the things we’ve learned on this December trip. The Lord is showering us with ideas and encouragement, and feeding the fire in our soul. We can’t wait to face all the challenges this new year will bring. Our hearts are filled with excitement and anticipation! What a perfect, blessed way to start this new year! 🙏

God’s Word Never Returns Empty

I was reading Ezekiel 4-5-6 today and to be honest, I wished I was somewhere, ANYWHERE in the New Testament instead. But I kept reading on about God’s wrath and horrible punishment of the people of Israel and Judah, and all the things He required Ezekiel to do. In the meantime, I SO needed the Lord to speak to me, to give me some thoughts that I could apply to my life, my situation, the problems, and the challenges I was facing! I just somehow couldn’t imagine how I could get that from Ezekiel 4-5-6??? But I just kept reading and kept fighting my frustration and wished that I didn’t feel like I wanted to be DONE with it already.

… Then I was done. … And the Lord spoke to me through EVERYTHING I read.

– I was getting a glimpse, a frightening but also an awe-filled glimpse of understanding His power, His ABSOLUTE POWER over EVERYTHING in the Universe, and every tiny human being. I felt how truly and amazingly blessed I was that because of Jesus, I never have to face His wrath, although I am not one iota better than those Israelites whom He destroyed in His anger.

– I then got filled with overwhelming gratitude for Christ and His love for me… ME ???????

– Finally, He filled my heart with His love and His all-surpassing peace, and I knew that whatever happens, He is in control and ultimately IT WILL BE GOOD.

… So, I got His message for me today: No matter which verses we are reading, His word never returns empty. He can speak to our heart we just need to be obedient and listen.

No One Is Too Far…

As “gone” as they might look, nobody is too far gone for God’s love and reach. Gang leaders turning into pastors, addicts becoming clean for life, headstrong atheists seeing the Light, … and all of us making a 180 turn away from who we were and become filled with His Spirit that is stronger than anything in the world.

“Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

We just supplied a street evangelism team in Hungary with ten thousand tracts. They engage people by performing short skits, then telling them the Gospel, giving them the tracts, and answering their questions. These teams distribute Gospel tracts in parks, in front of universities, events, anywhere they can. They are the ones who spoke with these two guys also. You can see the tract in the hand of one of them. Sometimes street evangelism is not easy. But we are called to tell EVERYONE about Christ.

Getting Ready for Street Evangelism Before Christmas

No matter how we look at it, for many, Christmas became a secular holiday all over the world. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if soon it would get completely re-named to make sure it did not offend anyone. … The two, three weeks of shopping frenzy before Christmas is still the perfect time to remind people what exactly we are celebrating and who Jesus Christ really is. Like in most cities, in Budapest, entire blocks get cordoned off, decorated, and set up as special Christmas shopping districts. The streets get crowded and shops are open all day and late into the night. In 2020 we planned to be there but were not able to go. This year we hope nothing will come up. We are preparing special tracts about Jesus, and talking to other organizations and churches in Hungary to get some help giving them all out.

If you or your church group feels called to serve with us on this trip, or in any way in the future, please contact us. Together we can reach more people. Please send us an email at: contact@aando.us

The Hardest Day of Our Lives

Soon after we got back from our trip our daughter told us that there was nothing more the doctors could do for her. Her condition deteriorated fast and two months after our return we lost her. We are grateful to all of you who prayed for the healing of our beloved Olivia (35). The Lord had a different plan for her and called her home. She lost her three years-long battle with cancer and passed into the Lord’s presence on September 5th. Our hearts are broken and we will miss her dearly but will rejoice in knowing that we will see her again one day in Heaven. Please, pray that the Lord fills her husband’s and our hearts with His peace. And that her strong faith and love for Jesus all along will bring her unbelieving loved ones to Christ.

Although our hearts are broken, our God is with us. By opening new doors for our ministry and giving us much more to do He encourages us not to sink into our grief but to know that He loves us and cares for us. He knows that the best way to heal our grief is if we become as busy as possible. He lifts us out of the depth of our sorrow. He gives us a firm place to stand – our reaffirmed calling and enlarged territory to build His Kingdom. He puts a new song in our mouth in place of our cry – a praise for His love and care for us. We hope and pray that through these new opportunities, many will see and fear the Lord and will put their trust in Him!
